Top U.S. lawmakers and leaders receiving pro Israel PAC support
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee AIPAC and its affiliated political action committees are major contributors in US federal elections. They support candidates across both parties who align with a pro Israel policy agenda. Campaign finance analyses show that AIPAC PAC and related pro Israel groups contributed tens of millions of dollars in recent election cycles, with totals accumulated over multiple cycles.
Among the highest career recipients of pro Israel contributions are President Joe Biden, who has received over 5.2 million dollars from pro Israel groups; Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, with over 1.7 million dollars in direct and bundled contributions; House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, with over 2.5 million dollars over his career; former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, with over 2.1 million dollars; and former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, with approximately 1.8 million dollars.
In the 2023 2024 election cycle alone, AIPAC PAC and its super PAC United Democracy Project reportedly spent more than 50 million dollars supporting congressional candidates. Other notable recipients include Representative Adam Schiff, listed as a top recipient with over 6 million dollars in AIPAC PAC related funds. Many other House and Senate members across both parties received smaller but significant contributions in the same cycle.
AIPAC and related pro Israel groups have supported both incumbents and challengers in competitive races, with combined contributions and independent expenditures reaching record levels in recent election cycles.
