Edi Rama Visiting The Western Wall

On January 26, 2026, Prime Minister Edi Rama of Albania visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem, Israel, during an official trip as part of efforts to support the fight against antisemitism and strengthen diplomatic relations. He and his wife were received at the site and learned about the significance of the wall as a sacred location for the Jewish people. The prime minister wrote a personal note and placed it between the stones of the wall, following local tradition, and signed the visitors’ book.
