On February 12, 2026, reports emerged that Israeli cybersecurity and spyware firm Paragon Technologies inadvertently exposed its internal surveillance dashboard in a public LinkedIn post. The screenshot shared by the company showed detailed operational information including phone numbers of targets, the messaging platforms being monitored, and active surveillance sessions in real time.

The image appeared briefly on Paragon’s official LinkedIn account before being removed, but not before researchers and analysts captured and circulated the screenshot. The exposed dashboard raised concerns because it revealed sensitive data and the interface used to manage Paragon’s covert monitoring tools.

Paragon’s spyware products have been previously linked in investigative reporting to operations targeting journalists, government critics, and human rights defenders in multiple countries. The firm’s tools are designed to infiltrate mobile devices and extract data from messaging applications, emails, and other digital communications.

Security experts described the incident as a significant operational security failure for a company whose business model depends on secrecy. The exposure of active targets’ phone numbers and platform details also raised questions about data protection and the potential risk to individuals whose information was visible in the screenshot.
