Repeated Settler Incursions and Property Damage in Taybeh

During the night of December 4–5, 2025, Israeli settlers again targeted the Christian village of Taybeh. Residents reported that cars were set on fire and at least one building was vandalized with threatening graffiti. The attacks occurred shortly after the opening of the parish’s Christmas celebrations, intensifying concern among local Christians about seasonal intimidation.

According to a Vatican News account, the village has experienced a series of similar assaults throughout 2025—ranging from property destruction to threats against families. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs documented hundreds of settler attacks across Palestinian communities that year, though specific criminal accountability for the Taybeh incidents remains unclear.
