Mordechai Elon Conviction

Mordechai Elon was a prominent Religious Zionist rabbi in Israel, known for his leadership roles in yeshivot, public lectures, and media appearances. He was considered an influential religious figure prior to the allegations against him.

In July 2013, the Jerusalem Magistrates Court convicted Elon of forcible sexual assault against a minor male. The offenses involved abuse of authority and trust within a religious educational setting. The victim was underage at the time of the assaults.
