Israeli military drones strike bicyclists in Gaza killing two Palestinians
On February 10, 2026, two Palestinian men riding bicycles in eastern Deir al‑Balah in the Gaza Strip were killed by an Israeli military drone strike, hospital officials reported. The strike occurred near the ceasefire line dividing the territory, according to the Al‑Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, which received the bodies. The health ministry in Gaza provided casualty figures after the incident.
Gaza health authorities said that the strike happened along a road where people were traveling by bicycle. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the specific incident. The strike took place amid continued violence in Gaza despite a truce that took effect in October 2025 and has been marked by recurrent deadly exchanges.
Following the deaths, local medical officials said the Gaza Health Ministry reported that a total of 586 Palestinians had been killed since the ceasefire began, bringing the cumulative toll in the territory to more than 72,000 since the start of the broader conflict. Separately, hospital officials also reported the death of a woman by gunfire in the central Maghazi refugee camp on the same day.
