Israeli minister Itamar Ben Gvir injured in car accident

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir was injured in a car accident in the central Israeli city of Ramla. The crash occurred while the minister was leaving the area after visiting the scene of a stabbing attack earlier that day.

According to officials, the vehicle carrying the minister collided with another car and overturned during the incident. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported several people, including Ben Gvir, to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation.

Authorities reported that the injuries suffered by the minister were not considered life threatening. Ben Gvir was conscious and receiving treatment after the crash, and medical staff monitored his condition for several hours following the accident.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the government vehicle may have passed through a red traffic light before the collision occurred. Police later confirmed that the crash involved multiple vehicles and that an investigation was launched to determine the exact cause.

Other individuals involved in the accident, including drivers and security personnel, were also treated for injuries described as minor. Officials stated that all those injured were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Ben Gvir later thanked supporters and medical staff after being discharged, stating that he intended to return to his duties while following doctors' recommendations during recovery.
