Gabriela Rico Jiménez’s Viral 2009 Incident and Disappearance

On the evening of August 3, 2009, 21‑year‑old Gabriela Rico Jiménez was filmed in a distressed state outside the Fiesta Inn hotel in Monterrey, Mexico. In the video footage that circulated online, she repeatedly vocalised statements as police officers approached and attempted to detain her.

According to available recordings and eyewitness descriptions, Jiménez’s statements included: “I wanted my freedom.” and “Monterrey freed me but it cost me a lot of work.” She said she had spent time in Mexico City and referred to events that “began in mid‑2001.”

As police neared, reports state she said, “They have already taken me to the police station, and there they told me that they knew nothing!” and “They took me to the General Hospital.” She also accused an officer: “You! You were there! … You killed Mouriño!” referring to a high‑profile politician.

Jiménez’s words then became more fragmented and intense. Accounts of the footage indicate she shouted: “They told me who did they kill? The Queen of England? The Queen of Germany? Did they kill the princesses and Mickey Mouse? … They ate humans! Disgusting! They ate humans! I wasn’t aware of anything. Of the murders, yes, but they ate humans! Humans! They smell like human flesh!”

In the video, as an officer moves to detain her, she is recorded shouting additional phrases such as: “You are not going anywhere until everything is clarified! You already took me there! Let me go!” before struggling with police and being led away.

These statements have circulated widely online in various clips and reports about her disappearance following the incident. The original news broadcast from 2009 identified the woman by name, but there are no widely available official transcripts from the broadcast itself. Sources reporting on the incident cite the above phrases from video footage that remains accessible in certain archival clips.

After the large batch of Epstein-related documents was released in early 2026, Gabriela Rico Jiménez’s 2009 viral incident has drawn renewed attention online. Some social media posts and commentary note thematic parallels between her statements about elites and allegations appearing in the Epstein files, but **there is no verified evidence connecting her case to Epstein or his associates**. These mentions remain speculation and commentary by online users.
