A banner displaying the message "war crimes dont hide sex crimes" was placed on a pedestrian bridge over a highway in March 2026. The sign was attached to the railing of the overpass, making it visible to passing vehicles on the roadway below. Images of the banner circulated online after drivers and pedestrians photographed the display.

The banner consisted of large printed lettering on a light-colored background and appeared to have been secured to the bridge structure using ties or similar fasteners. No organization or individual name was displayed on the banner. Its placement allowed the message to be seen by a large number of commuters traveling on the highway beneath the overpass.

Authorities in the area removed the banner after it was reported. Local regulations in many jurisdictions restrict the placement of unauthorized signs or banners on highway infrastructure due to safety and visibility concerns. Officials did not immediately announce whether an investigation was opened to identify the individuals responsible for placing the banner.
