Elon Musk Emails Jeffrey Epstein About Visiting Private Island
In publicly released emails from November 2012, Elon Musk corresponded with Jeffrey Epstein regarding a potential visit to Epstein’s private Caribbean island, known as Little St. James in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Musk asked, “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?” in reference to the visit.
Additional correspondence in December 2013 shows Musk inquiring about visiting the island while he and his then-partner Talulah Riley were in the British Virgin Islands and St. Barts over the holidays. The emails indicate interest in visiting but do not show that a trip occurred.
The emails were released as part of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Epstein Files Transparency Act disclosures. The documents do not provide evidence that Musk participated in illegal activity or visited Epstein’s island. Musk has publicly stated he declined invitations and never traveled to the island.
Media coverage has highlighted the correspondence as part of a broader set of communications between Epstein and multiple high-profile individuals, which are under review for historical context and potential links to Epstein’s criminal network.
