Israeli bulldozer incident reported in Gaza

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported that an incident involving Israeli military forces and a Palestinian minor occurred in the northern Gaza Strip on December 10, 2025. According to the organization, the event took place in the Jabalia camp area amid ongoing military activity.

The group stated that 16-year-old Zaher Nasser Shamia was injured by gunfire while in the vicinity of the Jabalia Services Club. Witness accounts cited in the report indicated that Israeli forces opened fire in the area, leaving the teenager wounded and unable to receive immediate medical assistance due to continued shooting.

Euro-Med Monitor reported that, while the injured individual was on the ground, a military bulldozer approached and ran over him. The organization described the act as deliberate and stated that the victim was still alive at the time. The account was based on field documentation and testimonies collected by its team.

In testimony provided to the organization, a relative of the victim said that the incident began earlier in the day when Israeli military vehicles entered the area near the so-called Yellow Line. The witness stated that the victim had initially remained in the camp before moving with a group toward nearby concrete barriers after being told that military forces had withdrawn.

According to the testimony, as the group reached al-Hadad Street, gunfire struck the teenager, reportedly from an aerial source. Witnesses said he was hit in the head and remained on the ground while others fled the scene due to continued fire.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor characterized the incident as part of a broader pattern of actions by Israeli forces in Gaza. The organization called for accountability and further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event.
